Project Description: 

The Learning Centre was the product of an independent research project during our fall semester of

our Architectural Technology program. We were tasked with researching sustainable practices to integrate those practices and design and model a learning centre. We were requested to not utilize external utilities or power and the building was to be completely self-sufficient. We ended up employing passive heating and cooling to accomplish this and we were able to design the building for optimal sustainability using recycled materials and forming the building to take advantage of passive energy.
